After a lovely little 'potter' round the local coast, I decided to stop off in paighton for some grub and a play in the arcades. To my dismay I came a across a car parked in the 'mc bike only' spot, so naturally...

Yes they have a disabled badge, but still!

Dick move or not? Mr. Green

Fair play I say.

had an argument with some bloke in salisbury because he was parked in bike bay 'I have a disabled badge, I can park where I like' was his comment.

I told him to fuck off and park on the double lemons since bikes had nowhere else to park and he did.

I agree, fair play.

And if he/she does manage to move it, report to the authorities for having a disabled badge...

Cab drivers do this everyday in the bike bay outside work. Think it dont count if they're sitting in it.
Me and a Moped rider from a neighbouring restaurant discussed this, & now we park at either end of the bay, even if the whole thing is free.

I have a disabled badge and ride a bike. (the bike is adapted and took nearly a year to get my licence back after all the checks)

The blue badge does NOT entiltle you to park anywhere especially if you parked like a twat like they did.

Good move I say.

It annoys me when people abuse a system!!

OP. You may have some validity in the point you were trying to make but Judge Judy would have had your guts for garters.

You are not the law. You deliberately obstructed another vehicle.
If the PoPo had been called you would have been told to move it.

Whether the PoPo ticket the 'offender' is another matter but you canny take the law into your own hands.

I would have move the bike aside and if it fell over then too bad. It is just begging for trouble.

Dick move IMO for the reasons stated above.

If matey had tried to move it and dropped it then sure it would be his fault and he'd cop for it but you're still left with a damaged bike. He might have fcked it off down the road too, or on to the beach, or in the sea. Laughing

Go steady now Thumbs Up

Ring up and complain if there is any money to be had they have
Civil Enforcement Officers (CEOs), formerly known as Parking Attendants, are there to ensure parking controls are observed and enforced in a fair, accuate and consistent manner
Parking Services Enquiries
Tel: 01803 207695
then watch the twat get a ticket.
