My cool story.

Got a puncture on the way to work this morning. Not too far from Watling Tyres so thought I'd push it there. Dropped the bike and bent the handle bars. What a twat.

Then remembered I had Honda Recovery so phoned them. I feel such a pleb as I could've been recovered to the tyre place in the first place. Sad day for me.

That was probably the sorta statement that got him pushing it in the first place "It's only a punctured tyre, what's the worst that could happen...." Laughing

The recovery guy said he dropped his brand new Bandit with 30 miles on the clock.

The question is, insurance or not. Will a claim but no accident make much difference? I don't have any no claims and the insurance was only £250.

Whoa... insurance claim. Don't think so. Would not consider ANY insurance claim. Laughing Its a £20 fix.

This should not touch or go through insurance at all.

Shocked insurance? Laughing

Get on eBay, buy replacement bars, fit.

Heck, I've got a spare set of 22mm (7/8") x 750mm bars lying around somewhere, you can have them for the postage if they suit. Probably about a 100mm rise in total. Legit offer, PM me. Wear something pretty.

Really?? That's an incredible offer. I shall let you know what the garage says and you can see whether you can be bothered.

Thank you.
