Good evening,

I am planning to install a sat nav mount on my sv650.
I have seen these from ebay but don't think they will fit as my clipon stem nut does not have a hole in it in order to insert the stem

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motorcycle-Bike-Centre-Fork-Stem-Mount-with-Waterproof-Sat-Nav-GPS-Case-Holder-/150827264714?pt=UK_CE_GPS_Accessories_Software_ET&hash=item231e016aca

then there are the ones as below but don't know if they are any good
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tank-Camera-GPS-SatNav-GoPro-Mount-Ducati-Monster-620-695-900-1000-S2R-S4-S4R-/261282644991?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3cd5a8c3ff

can I trust it putting my £400 iphone on it ? Smile

I am interested to buy and install the first one but 2 issues are ,

My clipon nut doesn't have a hole through it as per the video below( where would I be able to get another nut that fit) ?

To use that you will need to take your eyes completely off the road.

but with the one which has something in the middle I need to change the stem or yoke nut as well , wouldn't I and they are roughly £20 for the nut only on ebay and £30 for the kit thus around £50 for a simple mount

i personally think the stem nut is a shit and over complicated design. why can't they integrated the ball with the nut? After all the nut is turning on the same axis as the ball so impossible to be out of alignment!

I would get the £50 one, but then I'm sure i could produce something alot simpler and cheaper if I had the resources
