Ducati Panigale S

Hello to all, I am new to motorcycle forums, so bear with me for a while if I ask or post stuff which is old hat!
First post just to say how pleased I am with the new bike, a red 2012 Panigale S which I bought from a friend last month who found it too radical for his liking. It has under 1,000 miles on the clock.
I suppose I am a born-again biker to an extent, I have not had 2 wheels since a Ducati 999R in 2002, but plenty of sports bikes came and went before that though.
Best bits, well, the outright power, sound, looks, character, manic bhp shift around 8,000 rpm, (something I never thought a big twin could do), plus just the whole o t t, radical nature of the bike which thrills and yet scares in equal amounts.
Worst bits. Tank range, bloody hot for the rider (rear pipework mainly) and a relative hole in the power through the mid-range. Plus it's poor in town, really does not like running at low revs at all.
But overall, love it and 3 of us are going to Germany next week to stretch the legs of our Pannys!
(One of the fellas has the new R version, lucky swine!)
