I've just picked up a Husky for some greenlaning, I know a few short tracks around Shrewsbury/Ludlow to practice on but are there any riders localish that fancy a ride out?

I would love to join you but my 125 on road tyres would leave me in the dust.
A nice little 'road' to go up and down is in Buildwas. Head from the back of the Wrekin (wellington) towards much wenlock, you'll get to a dirty downhill road, take the 1st right after the turning for Ironbridge and you'll find it. Its only a 5 minute track but its on a nice incline. Just go slow at the beginning, there's some massive rocks about.
Oh, and don't look at the "unsuitable for motor vehicles" sign at the top Smile

That sign doesn't mean you can't ride down the road mate, just means they won't take responsibilty if someone fucks their road veichle.. thinking it's a normal road.

Thought I might share some pics of my first proper trip out on the Husky. I'm really impressed with it actually, having done offroad days on KTM's and been spoilt by the real deal, I wasn't expecting great things from a sub £1k husky... But it handles the mud/inclines/tiny jumps really well!

Anyway, heres a few (bad) pics, all green lanes between shrewsbury and church stretton apart from the wooded pic where I took a wrong turn...
