I've had my Hornet 600 up to an indicated 145mph whilst laying on the tank and it felt fine (on completely public roads of course).
It also doesn't vibrate and feels stable up to a pretty decent speed if sitting upright as usual.
Maybe yours is brokeded? ____________________ Generic XOR 50, Gilera SMT 50, GSXR 400 GK73A, Ducati Monster 600, Honda Hornet 600.

Early ones vibrate between 6 and 7k, its an emissions thing. It shouldn't be that bad though, just buzzing through the pegs, not anywhere else. If you persevere and power through it, it gets better (honestly officer I have to go faster).
It shouldn't feel unstable either, mine would shake its head getting on the power but never actually felt unstable; they are generally pretty planted.
I agree with Reed. Yours is broken. Check the usual stuff like head bearings, wheel bearings and wheel alignment. |
Mines a 1999 and I haven't noticed any vibrating between 6 and 7k, oh well I guess mine is just super amazing. ____________________ Generic XOR 50, Gilera SMT 50, GSXR 400 GK73A, Ducati Monster 600, Honda Hornet 600.
