Hi all, hope someone can shed some light on an odd issue i'm having with my fazer.

Filled up this week, no problems, fuel gauge showing what it normally does. Coming home from work yesterday, it said 3/4 of a tank when I left, then suddenly dropped to half a tank, thought that was a bit odd.

Now when stationary the gauge appears to show the correct level, currently half a tank - but when I accelerate the level goes up, when I come off the throttle the level slowly goes back to half. I thought it could have just been the petrol sloshing around, but if I rev the bike with the clutch in the needle moves up again. It is quite sensitive too - slowly rev and the needle creeps up, open the throttle and it flies up the gauge Confused

Never had this problem before in the 2 years I've owned it, can anyone suggest a possible cause/fix?

Cheers

Cars used to have a voltage stabiliser thing in the live supply to the gauges to drop the voltage to stop the gauges accuracy being messed up by changing voltages in the electrical system, no idea if this bike has a stabiliser or not, but it is something to consider, perhaps it is failing?
