Wasn't entirely sure where to post it. Considered bike chat, as it's 90% scooter related, but being a holiday video, gathered this section would be best.

Cyprus is almost my second home, Having lived there before, and re-visiting every year, sometimes twice a year, each holiday gets harder and harder to beat.

This is the first time I've gone since 2007, and not being with my Girlfriend, so wasn't sure what to expect.

I went with a good mate of mine. We landed last Wednesday, stayed in a quite hotel in Pernera, well outside of Ayia Napa.

Hired a couple of PGO Scooters and decided to see how much they could handle.

First mishap was when I jumped off Cape Greko with my key in my pocket, and lost it in 15m deep waters. OOPS!
Had to hitch a ride back to the hire shop on Bobbs scoot to get a spare key.

A friend of mine (Pavlos) owns a Car accessories shop in a small village about 25k away, called Ormedia. He cut me a spare key which the hire shop were very pleased about.

On about the 5th day, We decided to have a go at climbing the mountains on the scoots. They gave up about 3/4 the way to the top. Altitude got the better of them, and they literally could not climb any further. Mine actually stalled at one point!

Video kinda shows a little idea of what we got up to. It's the first one I've ever made, so got quite bored and didn't put all the footage in. I might sit and make a better one some day.

On the last night we went to Ayia Napa. I am Good friends with current manager, and previous manager of one of the bars who you can see at the end. Only good thing about flying home is that I can start saving to go back.

Video should work. I have uploaded two qualities. Youtube tired to anti-shake one of them, and it's made it worse. So you may need to try the second clip;

Is your mates car, the one with the burnt out clutch, still stuck halfway up Troodos? Laughing

I was in Larnaca about a month ago for my brother's wedding. First time in Cyprus, got told people drive like nutters, but other than a few red light jumpers I never seen anything dangerous - especially compared to how the Lebanese drive, that is an interesting place to drive.

The safari trip we went on was pretty cool, would have loved to go off roading there (a few companies cater for it) on a bike but oh well. Also enjoyed going to the North and into the republic of Turkey to the abandoned beach resort - reminded me of the game Fallout a bit.

That got recovered a day or two later mate. Massive heap of junk car it was.

Just a few points on the video. The big red bus was slo-mo'd because I've been on it before. They are part owned by Rox (Ex GF's) Uncle, who also lives in Cyprus.

The cliff jumping is me and Bobb.

And I'm on the pole at the end. Other dude on the wires is Kostas, who is the bar Manager there. Friend of mine.

Cypriot who I shove the wooden fallus at is Pavlos, who is my best friend.
