Just sold my trusty CG125, so using the cash i got from that to do my full license

i already have a 600 Bandit waiting for me to pass so that's a big incentive!!

been on my CBT since Feb, just worried what bad habits i have picked up since riding the tiddler

Hey, Good luck with the test, I rode a 125 for 2 and 1/2 years before I did my test, feels good to be able to go a bit quicker and also just ditch the L plates!!

i cant wait to be honest, i rode a er5 on cbt, then had to go back to a CG once i "passed" it was depressing!!

just booked my first lesson, bloke said i would need to ride a 125 around for a bit to "see how i handle a bike"

Cool! Who you doing your lessons with? You'll only need to show them 10 mins or so on a 125 before they see you're fine I reckon.

CBT is for people to ride a 125. I couldn't handle a bike when I got on it. Odd experience.

I had a friend do his and after him riding around with me for a few months I gave him my Daytona 600 to take up the road. Didn't die so he uses all my bikes as and when he wants.

He has passed now though

Whilst I was doing mod 1 practice on a er5, there were others doing their cbt, one on a scooter, one on a 125 Suzuki, and one guy did it on a fazer 600,
I asked how this was possible, apparently he has previous experience on bikes like motorcross and stuff
Anyways I just did my practice

Normal pratice on your 2nd CBT is to do it on a 600 so that schools get business getting you do your full test

Phoenix I believe, if you show you can ride a bike and you turn up on your own one, so I have seen/heard.

"Test level" means "able to pass the test". It doesn't mean you're able to ride. Equally it doesn't mean you're unable to ride. Plenty of very competent riders would fail if they took their tests today. Learning to pass the test is learning the rules you have to play by on test day as much as it's learning to ride. Hence the courier who failed on my test day. Perfectly comptetent rider, I'm sure; he just did something that displeased the examiner.

3 lessons (depending on the definition of a lesson) sounds reasonable. It took me CBT + about 3.5 days.

Had a lesson (with the people i did my CBT with) yesterday on a Bandit

i thought it rode waaaay better than a ER5

instructor said im ready for Mod 1 (just remember to do my checks which i always forget)

gonna look today see if i can get a cancellation woop woop!!
