Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

MCN and Visordown are the main ones i'd say, besides that its just a hit n' miss google searching, most of which will be obscure, inaccurate, moto vlogging related dribble.

Bikepics.com can fill countless hours for me Thumbs Up

Followed by Biketrader.com daydreaming about which bikes i could hypothetically but probably never will own

The only unmentioned one I can think of is Rideapart which is a yank hipster site - impossible not to read in a california accent. Some of it's not bad some of it really grates. They did some good videos a year or so ago and now appear to have a website. Comments section are all yanks who think an R6 is a learner bike and who probably haven't seen a corner worthy of the name since they left Diddlyboing Idaho back in '93. They use patter like "squid" and literbike. Dude.

I find most biking websites dull, dull, dull. Only talking about the newest latest 20k Ducati or some massive new "adventure" bike AKA two wheeled Chelsea tractor.

Forums tend to have more stuff that I can relate to with opinions on second hand bikes etc.

How about my blog, where you will find out why the Germans dubbed Honda's CX500 the 'shitpump' Laughing Also has some links to other bike sites.

https://xdeadwolf.blogspot.co.uk/

OddBike is a fairly new blog that covers weird and unusual bikes like the Nembo (upside down engine), Konig 500 (bike with an outboard motor engine) and the Amazonas (srsly wtf). Fairly long posts with in-depth mechanical stuff. You could kill a few hours on it.

https://www.odd-bike.com/

Kneeslider, mostly for unusual eBay finds.

https://thekneeslider.com/

MotoLady, for women that actually ride bikes. Mostly content from across the pond. Some gear reviews, but not a place for the serious ATGATT power ranger.

https://themotolady.com/

Pipeburn and Bike EXIF, for serious custom bike porn.

Not a fan either, RideApart seems heavily slanted towards USA motoGP trackday worshippers and those adventure bikes that get as much asphalt action as a Harley garage trophy.

I can't really think of any more good websites at the moment, to be honest. The custom and alternative sites that are mostly based in the US are now totally dominated by cafe racers and are as concerned with generating pretty pictures of an idealised biker lifestyle as they are about actually riding. They have some nice bikes but there are only so many instagrams of guys in Biltwell open face helmets and plaid shirts in the desert that you can see in a day.

On a more positive note, I just remembered that the Used Motorcycles Guide guy transcribed a lot of his articles onto a website. Spent a happy two days reading all of it:
