Old Pepper`s next trip

I went to welsh Wales a while back and a good time was had.
I did the highest road in Welsh Wales and now I`m going to do the highest road in England and Scottyland.
Now I`ve got itchy feet again, so I came up with a plan.

The plan is : day 1 : Ipswich -> Hexham/Northumberland and the A689 the Killhope Pass.
Day 2 : Northumberland -> Braemar/Glas Maol and the A93 the the Carnwell Pass.
Day 3 : Braemar -> Penrith by whatever roads get me there and a fluffy hotel for a good nights sleep before returning to Ipswich the next day.
Day 4 : Penrith -> Ipswich as quickly as possible in time for tea

So with that route as an outline, is there anything that I need to see or avoid?

Going shopping tomorrow for a new set of soft panniers as the last ones were starting to get a bit long in the tooth.
What`s the point of doing this? none, I just want to!

Have a cracking time but have you considered venturing abroad?

Sounds briliant! Would be great to hear back how it went, what roads were good etc. Would like to do something similar next year.
