Hey there, I know this bike is a TS 250 but not sure what one. can anyone say if it is an er?

It seem to have an old style tank but an ER style headlight.

I had a TS250C back in the dim and distant past.

The front end (clocks, headlight and forks) look to be ER and the rest of it looks to be from an earlier model. The tank and rear mudguard certainly are. Also, I think the ER had a square section swinger.

There's a bit of work there to get that back into shape...

Chains appears to be a bit slack.
Pop a bucket under where the seat should be... Then it'll be a real sh*tter Thumbs Up

On a serious curious note: does that flywheel turn freely?

I agree with 69.9, ER front end but the rest looks from an earlier model. I have an ER in the garage and the previous poster is correct that the later ones have a square section swing arm (have a spare one if you're interested Smile ) I also have a 1976 frame lying about and that has the tubular swing arm on it.

If you're planning on restoring it, good luck on finding a seat and exhaust - ended up having to get mine from the US

Just from the shape of the head and barrel also indicates an older bike than an ER. You may still be able to buy aftermarket end cans for this bike as it's the downpipe that rots away.

Depending what you want to do with the bike, I have some good spares lying around that I may be persuaded to part with. Definitely have an end can in good condition that may fit and seem to remember a half decent used piston too (but you can get one new from wemoto)

the other engine that it came with is a slightly different look but the same geometry, and ill crack that one open and see what she's like before I decide which one to go with. Thanks for the offer, I may contact you in the future!
