Think I might have a dodgy connection on the start button.

Took me a bit of jiggling and pressing it at different point to get the bike to fire up.

Anyone experiences this before???

Not had this problem personally but my mate had a similar problem with GSXF when he tried to start it for an hour or so only to discover he'd accidentally flipped the kill switch. Rolling Eyes

I had a dodgy start button - originally thought it was the starter solenoid but turned out to be the switchgear. I just bought a new switchgear.

If you can disconnect the switchgear wiring connector and can figure out which wire is which, you could bridge the two starter wires and see if it is indeed the starter button. You might possibly have to bridge the killswitch wires for this to work.

Does sound like a dodgy connection somewhere - might also be the connectors in the connector block.

Why? You could mess around taking it to bits, trying to catch springs and losing screws or buy one for £20 or less delivered off Ebay and be up and running in 30 minutes. I'd go for the first option but for many on here the easier choice is far better.
