So in what looks like the last weekend of good weather forecast until hell rises and evaporates the rain what you all got planned? Looks to be forecast in the 20s in manc so I'll be taking a lovely lady friend pillion up to either holmfirth or beeston castle or something.

Make the most of it before the perma-rain!

I'm thinking of going to Snake Pass for the first time, with a few friends. Maybe Rivi barn on Sunday, and laugh at my mate as he drops his newly aqquired bandit Twisted Evil

Sat: Steam Rally= Me, Wife and dog, a nice line up of bikes, a wall of death, a dog agility display, maybe some syncronsied kite flying and some lovely old machinery to result in a jolly good time.

Sunday: Two wheels = jolly good time.

Hmm dunno. Seaways at some point, then there's a drag racing meeting on down the york raceway at melbourne on the sunday so I might have a dekko at the busas and stuff. Bloke I know runs a K1300, but there's all sorts to look at. US superstock for one thing, and sometimes a top fuel funny car or jet dragster.

It has done nothing but rain in the south east for the last week or two. Still out on the bike though.

It still sat in the garage feeling very sorry for itself Sad

I've come to the decision it would be financially silly to get it back on the road. Also not pulling my finger out to get it sorted, which I should of and could of done.
Shame really as I bet with some time, effort and money, it would be a cracking wee bike.

But hey ho, got my eye on a few bikes. Can't wait.

I'll take the 250 out for a zip on Saturday morning and head for Goyt Valley. Afternoon will be digging in the garden. Sunday, make and hang the gates whilst catching bits of British Superbikes.

As it's the autumnal equinox on Sunday I'll be heading over to a friends for a loud and prolonged jam session and collecting a recently repaired guitar. Not sussed how I'm going to carry everything on the bike, but won't be stashing the drum machine in my jacket as the knobs hurt.

If it rains...I kill OP.

Gonna have a fiddle about with the divvy, clunky gearbox at the moment. Done a filter and oil change and its not made a bit of difference, so hoping its just the cable. Dont like the fact its jumping out of 2nd into neutral though.

If can get it sorted then will be doing the same as HT and heading upto and around Goyt.

Today was the first time out on my local roads after getting the bike last weekend.

I FRIGGIN LOVE IT............Cool

It is so easy to ride , comfy on my dodgy arm , handles great , could do with braided hoses , just made me grin with the fun of it.

Much as I loved my 7R , I'm glad I changed to this.

Will get out again on Saturday , pending mother in law keeping tabs on the kids..... Laughing
