Best Bike Stores for Window Shopping and a Coffee?

that you could ride out too.... Grab a coffee/burger...have a chat with other bikers....window shop ....etc

I assume you're in the HERTS/BEDS/BUCKS area? there's a dealer (Triumph i think) in Woburn that looks quite busy when i go past but I've never actually managed to stop so I can't say 100% that its any good.

Theres a new store in Dukinfield who do brews/chats/hangouts

they also do an open day every now and then with burger van outside etc, they're only a new store so prob not many about at the mo but a nice idea,.

Pure Triumph in Woburn is nice, as is Palmers Motorcycles in Hemel Hempstead. You've already mentioned On Yer Bike. Theres also Hertfordshire Triumph near Hemel Hempstead.

J&S Watford is alright if you fancy a bit of a longer ride. Theres also Mission Motorcycles in Bletchley near MK and Grafton Honda in Milton Keynes. Specialist cars Luton BMW have a bike section but it's usually just 1 S1000RR, they're more focused on cars. They will do you a cup of coffee though.

Thats all I can think of ATM. There used to be a bunch more but they've closed down in recent times. Sad really.

Bit far a field from you but fowlers in bristols got a great cafe and bike selection for window shopping. Prices and service is diabolical though

In York, this award probably goes to the triumph dealer A1 Motorcycles - at the bottom of Hull Road. Loads of bikes to look at round the back, and there's usually a few people having a gander who're up for a natter. Spent best part of an hour there yesterday, at any rate.

Its a lot bigger inside than it looks actually, the top floor and even second floor aren't really that viewable from outside they're really big spaces. Only annoying thing besides the service is generally being pestered by sales people, half of whom look like they started last week and probably don't even own a bike from the way they talk

Good for looking and sit-ons, not tryed them for test rides yet.

Rode down to Motorcycle Megastore Swindon (next to Blade Honda).

Massive clothes, helmets, boots, gloves retailer and other odds and sods.
Burger van, plenty of other bikers.

The Honda dealer wasn't open though (like many, doesn't do Sunday) so perhaps Saturday would be a better day if you want to mooch the bikes.

Test rides are dangerous, so I don't tend to test ride things I can't justify or afford anymore!

I even get arsey when I go to buy gear and they try and talk to me.
