[who?]

Can you name one person who wasn't involved in the scam?

Presumably the Met are investigating these cases of criminal fraud then?

You've been away too long, that isn't how privatisation works.

What happens is a politician gets a brown envelope from an interested party. The politician then makes a case for the providers of the brown envelope as to how great privatisation is.

Numerous studies will then be shown how awful privatisation really will be, however politician will ignore these studies completely (remember ID cards? many studies showed they were ineffective). Then will plough ahead with the privatisation anyway.

At which it is poor value for money under perform or require massive state subsidy for decades (like rail ways) but the MP just by coincidence happens to get a directorship at the said company.

Once you consider that the system is dripping with corruption, it all makes sense. Hence the privatisation from the view of the MP/Civil service bod who initiated it, privatisation works brilliantly to line their own pockets which is the goal all along.

I was talking in general terms, in which case, ME

These parasites have been raping the public coffers, all perfectly legally, (apparently), for years.
The day CCT was forced upon Local Authorities and public services was the day that your taxes started flowing into the, grasping, hands of profiteers who have no interest in anything other than profit!

Mr Pies, I agree, wholeheartedly, having had the misfortune to witness, first hand, the way these leeches, operate, in the past!
