Heated waistcoat

I'm considering trying one of these this winter. Does anyone have any recommendations? The prices seem to range from £75-£150. Has anyone had bad/good experiences with the cheap end of that range?

Also, will I be able to connect one of these to my cigarette-lighter/12v plug or will I need to run another line to the battery?

Finally, can you chain two of these together? I doubt it would go over well with the wife if I were warm and toasty while she shivers.

I have used and can recommend keis

you can wire them to the bike battery, fit a cigarette lighter end onto the wiring or buy a lithium battery for each of you

they also do heated insoles.............

I have a Keis body warmer, it's pretty good - the heated pads heat up around the kidney area. It's definitely better having it wired up to the bike's battery, although the standalone battery is good when you're walking the dogs at 6am...

I'm not sure how long it lasts - it definitely covers my commute (1~1.5hours) with a decent bit of charge remaining - when I'm out walking the dogs (or whatever) I tend to only use it when I've just set out or when standing still for a bit, I end up turning it down/off because I always work up a sweat once I get going - I'll have to try and time it when I next use it.
I'm fairly sure I went for the smaller battery, again I'll have to take a look to be sure, it's been in the cupboard since earlier this year.
