Getting a little sick of all these "making an example of him" scenarios. Bit OTT what he got.

Good to see the police catching the real menaces to our kittens and them being punished accordingly.

Suspended being the key word.

I see no problem with what he was doing whatsoever. Just standard police bs. I'm sure they saved a thousand lives now. I wonder how many times he's done it and not got caught, he's practically a murderer.

pull a 110mph wheelie on a 70mph road during the day around loads of other road users isn't exactly the smartest thing to do.

You're jealous cos you can't do wheelies that fast?

Did it result in anyone's death? No.

Did it result in injury to a person? No.

Did it result in loss of money or possessions from a person? No.

Did it result in the harming of any animals? No.

What possible reason could the police have for prosecuting this? and what possible reason could the courts give for passing such a sentence?

I think is more to do with the consequences such an act may have if it goes wrong. Overall it is very harsh, the 12 week prison sentence even if suspended is ridiculous, the ban and maybe community service at most.

It makes me chuckle that you can watch youtube videos all day long of yanks doing this.....and actual proper stunts on the streets as well for that matter, and from the looks of things the police just turn a blind eye over there.....it really does show the differences in the popo's priorities over here doesn't it?
