My wife and I are celebrating our 25th on Tuesday, so we finally broke into the rather large barrel of spare change we've been collecting for a few years and bought an intercom set for the bike, the Sena SMH10. (Yes, it was a VERY big barrel of spare change.) I tried it on the commute this morning to check the placement of the ear speakers and it was like riding to work in my car, with the windows all rolled up and the stereo on full blast... It was incredibly clear. Too clear almost. It might be too distracting to use on the commute, but it will be brilliant on long trips on motorways or main A roads, or for using the phone for GPS.

My only previous experience with helmet sound was a £20 wired thing that you couldn't hear above around 30mph. The Sena is in a different league.

Good choice!

Upgrade the firmware and you can get music sharing, very fun.

I was disappointed to find out that this feature didn't exist, so you've made my day! I'll update the firmware.

Yeah it's awesome, much better feature than I thought.
Assumed it would be terrible quality when shared but nope, perfect.

Never thought I'd find an intercom that I'd actually have to turn the volume down on!
