Have a look at www.biketrader.co.uk and www.autotrader.co.uk for prices.

Big cities in the UK are like big cities in the most of the rest of the world. Personally I'm not a big fan of them.

Surely it will depend where your job is, as to where you will choose to live?

Here is a link to the company in question, although, I am sure / I hope you will have checked all this before deciding to move to the other side of the world!!! Shocked

https://www.universalgroup.net/index.html

It looks like they are based in High Wycombe, although their website says they are based in 15 location throughout the country!!!

If you know where you are going to be based try multimap to locate that town or city and then enquire about that area!

Please tell me you have done some research of your own before just deciding ot move to the other side of the world!!! Confused

High Wycombe, not too far off from me. (Was there on saturday, i was in a bad part of the town but the rest of it is nothing special, not bad but not amazing either. Much like a lot of Bucks.)

Everyone knows Milton Keynes is the nicest city, due to the fact the whole place is no more than 20 years old Laughing
Not to mention you can drive across it in under 15 minutes and even in rush hour traffic aint a huge problem due to the simple fact there is no real centre to it.

Every city got its nice area's, and its nasty area's. Due to the fact life in england is in the top 4-5 most expensive places to live in the world... and house prices souring an all that... depends what you can afford.

I know about all the living costs and expenses but i dont think that would be a problem. what i wanted to know about the area's is where are fun places?,cause I can more or les decide where i want to live.

What are you going to be doing with them?

I used to sell gas and electricity door to door and there used to be a company called Universal Utilities that did a similar thing to us.

If you do move here, wherever you're posted, DO NOT BUY STRAIGHT AWAY. I know it may sound obvious but you'd be suprised the amount of people who buy and then realise they're in a bad neighbourhood. Rent, find out about the town and then buy when you know the nice parts.

Good luck.
