I've got one of those wee 3-leg stools which is better than nothing but not so good for lounging. My long term folding chair bit the dust last time out.

You know the drill, it's for motorcycle touring. Weight largely irrelevant, minimal pack size essential, ability to withstand large drunken biker sitting in it a necessity.

Not too fussed if it doesn't have arms (the saving in size is probably worth it).

Should either be a) Cheap to replace or b) Unlikely to break.

They're expensive, however they are meant to be pretty good. I think they are stronger than they feel, and are pretty comfy. I've only briefly sat on my parent's ones.

We're trying to get hold of a couple of Kermit chairs, but they tend to keep their price :-

https://www.expeditionexchange.com/kermitchair/

Might just bite the bullet. Pack size is 22" x 4" x 6" so not that small.

The chair is great, https://www.kermitchair.com/ but the price & customs charges are the killer

How many hours in total would you say you've sat in it?

Had it about 3-4 years and have used it every summer in the garden and taken it on holiday. As for hours used....................... lots.

I have tried a couple actually.

I risked a fiver on a "As seen on TV Pocket size chair". It is every bit as good as the price would have you suspect.
https://craziestgadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/pocket-chair.jpg

I also got a carp fishing chair (an Avid super carp). It takes up about the same size as my current one. Just acceptable and no more for packing on a bike but DAMN it comfy, very solid and has nice wide feet for muddy fields. I reckon it'll sit low enough to be under the smoke from the fire too. I may well land up falling asleep in this bad boy.

I've got a low one from Decathlon. I think it was £9.99. Strong enough to take 100kg+.
