I'm looking for something to go on my helmet or bike and record the ride. Needs to be easy to setup and as cheap as possible.

Thanks

How you can recommend a GoPro with OPs most prominent pre-requisite being 'cheap' is beyond me! Razz

Depends on what you see as cheap and how good you want the quality. Personally a lot of cheap cameras quality is pointless as they don't pick up a lot or are bad with lighting.

I consider the RoadHawk a "Cheap" camera yet it is still decent quality to pick up number plates and a decent FOV. Is no where near the price of a GoPro or Drift.

https://shop.roadhawk.co.uk/roadhawk-ride-bullet-camera

£150

Has quite a few accessories as well with it.

Cheap is subjective, depends on your earnings, but

Mobius looks the best deal I can see.

Buy cheap, buy twice.

Good and cheap, but not really helmet mountable. I don't think there is a good, cheap, waterproof, easily helmet mountable camera at the moment.

You can get waterproof cases for the MD80 on eBay if that's any help. It's a cheap enough camera if you just want to see if it's worthwhile getting something better! Pretty small and unobtrusive. Might root mine out to use today...

£48.80 plus import duty plus whatever bullshit blackmail premium the courier decides to slap on for dealing with that. Plus the wait, plus the return costs if it's spannered on arrival.

I'd go with £58.49 from the UK, with DSR and eBay / PayPal protection.

Bullet Cam from Dog Cam Sports for me.
Easy to set up, very easy to use, and in my opinion has better than average quality.

Yes you can get cheaper from fleabay, and you can get top quality for a price, but this one was a more than acceptable compromise for me

I use the liquid image ego for my racing vids:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kp5Mru1_Xk

Cheaper than the go pros, and with wifi so you can set up using your iPhone/android.

Full disclosure: As you may have guessed from the roll cage in the video - I am sponsored by them, but I approached them after buying my first lic camera and being happy with it and they gave me the other two for free.
