Varadero tail light stays on

[gbrand42]

I've always wondered why the tail light of my varadero 125 stays on for a few minutes after switching off the engine. Initially I thought it was a sticky brake light switch but it is definitely just the tail light. It goes out of its own accord after a couple of minutes. Is this something they are set up to do or do I have a problem?

Thanks for any advice

It isn't something they do, when you take the key out, all lights should turn off.
