Well I wrote a post the other day about painting my wheels, on that same day about an hour or so later my brother decided to accidentally reverse his car into my bike leaving a nice dent in the tank and a couple scratches in the tail piece.

So now I have decided to do the whole bike, I'm considering either keeping the colours the same or doing the tailpiece, belly pan, mudguard and tank in ford focus rs orange, with the pillion grab rail and side panels black, and having the wheels powdercoated black also, so I will leave an image of my bike below if any photo shop people want to be kind Smile

Any other colour suggestions would also be cooool. Smile

It's a Hornet. So mainly yellow and a little black would appear appropriate. Although probably done to death so not original. So maybe reverse it with mainly black and a hint of yellow. Oh wait! Wink

So ASBO RS orange it is then

Rainbow colour, with every piece fairing in a different colour - Reduces chance of SMIDSY by 75.3%

Or if thats a bit much, I think Focus RS / Kwak / Lambo orange all look rather appealing Wink

Did you know that 99.24% of statistics are made up on the spot? Wink
Rainbow idea reminds me of the United Colors of Benetton ST1100 from a few years back (tried to attach image)...

personally I'd flip that the other way. keep the wheels orange, and paint the grab rail and side panels to match.
but that's a personal thing, and I'm surprised there hasn't been a load of people telling you to Matt Black the whole bike.

This is useful, it gets rid of the dent and scratch, makes it look better and increases resale value...

What's wrong with black tank etc. w/ yellow wheels?!? Gotta be amongst the better colour hornets I've seen.

I have now decided to stick with the existing colours, the wheels have gone to the powder coater today, and the tank, side panels and grab rail will be being painted soon. Very Happy
