Jesus. You'd think that he'd at least check for a pulse after putting him down like that.

I think more at fault is the other bouncer walking around not helping.

With two against one it would have been more controlled.

I would have thought if you body slam people onto the pavement on a regular basis, at some point you are going to do someone real damage.

The skill with which that was done, suggests to me he's done it before.

Shouldn't need the drunken victim to come forward.

The Bouncer/Doorman has breached the SIA protocol and has also Assaulted the victim here. It's not self defence as you are supposed to meet force with equal force.

Unless the drunk had a weapon on him there is no reason for the other Bouncer/Doorman (there is a difference) to not join in. He would be lucky to get another job on security apart from G4S.

So exactly how long do you spend spinning round in circles like a pair of fighting alley cats before either A)a drunk person gouges your eye out, or B ) you put the person on the floor and finish it off?

Genuine question.

What a sad nation we've become when a drunken scally can kick off, and we rush to blame the guy just trying to get through his night without needing dental work.

Bouncer deserves a Clapping for giving him exactly what he was asking for, sod this SIA protocol ISO 9001 bollocks.

From the video we saw it's impossible to ascertain what happened before filming commenced. Possibly all the lout did was give verbal abuse, which would make the bouncer guilty of assault.

Then let's go by what we can see. The scally was approaching the bouncer, physically signalling his intent to have a go. That's the assault.

If we've really arrived at a situation where we expect people to stand there and take one on the chin before they can defend themselves, then that's rather sad.

The scally lost, is all. That doesn't make him the victim.

When you're that big, sober and have trained in some MMA, you shouldn't need to chuck skinny pricks on their head.

You shouldn't have skinny pricks come and have a go 'cause they think they're hard enough, but we don't live in a perfect world. Sad

For one thing, Alyson Hannigan keeps blocking me on tweeter. Now there's a crime. Crying or Very sad

My own eyes. You can tell from his defensive moves and grappling he's trained in something. I don't know for sure of course, but I've learnt similar things.

In Britain it does.

So if he's trained him in MMA why did they spend two weeks going round in circles?

Bollox, he saw the chance to pick him up and dump him.

Obviously happy to be proved wrong with youtube vidoes of him in the UFC ring, fighting Bruce Lee or whatever.

Since when does training = competing in the UFC? Perhaps he wanted to play with the guy and get a hard on from using his 'skills'. Like I said, it shouldn't have even got that far, unprofessional behaviour.

The attempt at a Thai clinch, the knee, the front choke, the sprawl...he didn't just wake up fighting like this naturally. I'm not saying he's an amazing fighter, he might have only ever been to a handful of training sessions and just watched a load on TV, but there's definitely some background to his style. Why is it difficult to believe a meathead doorman might have done some MMA at a local club? There was a doorman at my local MMA club!

You must be seeing something different to me, all I see is a bouncer trying to get hold of some drunken cunt.

Headlocks, kneeing, trying to take him to the floor - Looks like a bloody playground fight.

Not hard to believe that doormen do train in fighting techniques, but everyone appears to be calling him out without actually knowing anything about him.

Regarding the MMA/Not MMA comments:

https://tyneandwear.sky.com/news/article/85228/bodyslam-bouncer-is-revealed-as-fearsome-mixed-martial-arts

To be fair though, I would also guess that the chav has had some MMA style training of some sort too. The chav is far lighter and up until the slam, was having a very good go at it. They were both looking at grounding each other from an early stage.
