wonder how he will wriggle out of this

Quote:
Up to 12 police officers have raided the London flat of Natalie Rowe, 47, a former callgirl who was once intimate with UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne and who is planning to publish a book detailing wild parties attended by Osborne and other top Tories.

Rowe told the Sunday People: "I'm not into conspiracy theories. I'd like to think the fact I've been unfairly targeted by the police has nothing to do with the fact my book is about to be published, which happens to be very embarrassing for the chancellor. But it's certainly made me wonder. WHY did one officer involved in the raid ask me whether I was about to publish my memoirs and WHY did a police inspector tell me I'd be opening a 'whole can of worms' if I complained?"

Rowe, who formerly ran an escort agency under the sobriquet 'Mistress Pain', has caused headaches for Osborne before. In 2005 photographs surfaced of the chancellor, then 22, and Rowe - also known as Jennifer Shackleton - at a party in 1994 beside what looks like a supply of cocaine.

Osborne denies ever taking the drug, a claim disputed by Rowe in an Australian ABC interview: "George Osborne did take cocaine on that night - he took it on a regular basis, with me (and) with his friends. There were more witnesses who saw George Osborne taking cocaine - there are other people out there that know the truth. On that night I joked, when you are prime minister I'll have all the dirty goods on you and he laughed and had a big fat line of cocaine."

Asked if it had ever become more than a friendship Rowe said "yes", but did not elaborate. However, she did say that Osborne was a regular visitor to her Chelsea flat as she was the girlfriend of landowner William Sinclair, a friend of the chancellor since their days at Oxford.

Rowe claimed: "George was fascinated with what I did for a living. He was interested in what clients I was seeing, how much I charged and what happened. I showed him the chains, the handcuffs and belts."

A few weeks ago we had a reporter's boyfriend stopped at the airport and intimidated for links to Snowden.

TBH looks like the fascade is starting to fall and that the government are overtly doing what they please.

Now now, lets all ignore or even just accept these pigs in control.

It's all a conspiracy (such a dirty word, that)

As usual, the more annoying fact is that this sort of banal stuff even needs to be hidden.

Everyone gets drunk with their pals, drugs are really only a minor step up from that.

Whether you agree with drug bans or not, we all know it's not because they're 'good fun'. Alcohol is restricted because of brawls outside pubs. Smoking because it's a public health disaster.

Not because it's a bit of fun on the weekend.

The fact it could mean the end of a career is pretty silly, to be honest.

I want to say that the availability of things like Facebook now will mean that within ten or twenty years no-one will really give a sod about what people get up to on the weekend but I'm not holding out much hope.

Yep.

Oldpink makes chancellor. Day 1: 'Let's legalize cocaine'.

Good luck with that one.

It's illegal for 'immortals' too. He just got away with it. You know, like you and I almost certainly would.

he is Chancellor so he could always justify it by taxing it, that would raise a few bucks to help fill the coffers
Oh wait it will put up the price of Coke for all his rich chum's, so best just use our position to avoid arrest
and pretend the problem doesn't exist and ignore the scientific evidence and sack our top advisor for being honest Thumbs Up

To be fair all he needs to do is say, "Yeah I did do that, sorry, I'm not perfect."

Anyway has he ever been so vocally against drugs? Pretty sure at least a few politicians will be of the 'legalise it' opinion anyway. They are just humans, after all.

In another just-as-harmonious world, politicians would be able to take drugs all they want, and sleep with women who are happy to sell themselves for sex, and nobody would bat an eye about it, as long as they were doing a good job and doing the right things for the people.

This is a shit story designed to stir up extra hatred. It has absolutely no connection to his current line of work or his suitability to the job he's been given.

Only thing coming from this is a nice dose of unfair schadenfreude for the gossiping masses.

Seems reasonable, but this article isn't even about that. It's about a chap having some fun in his youth 20 years ago.

The picture in the article is from 1994. A year or two before (graduated 1992) he was fairly likely well into the standard student ritual of chucking it up the wall in the evenings.

I Couldn't give a shit.

Why does anyone else?

The difference is he's now an evil man helping to inflict misery on millions of the poor while looking out for his rich buddies, so they can accrue even more wealth they'll not be able to spend in ten lifetimes.

So let's hope this destroys his career and puts him out the position he has no moral right to be in. Better than that, pray it ruins his entire life, the vile cowardly maggot he is.

Yeah, that's what he should do, but he won't, will he? Instead, he'll lie, knowing no one believes it and because his party is in power at the moment, it won't be followed up.

I don't give a shit about hookers, drugs and whether he likes jam rolls shoved up his arse, but I certainly do give a shit that the people who are apparently leading the country don't have the moral fibre to admit to doing what every one of us would have done given the opportunities and money they had as a young man.

I'm at the point now where I don't care about the policies of the various parties, they are all spineless pigs feeding hungrily at the publicly funded trough.

If I was in the constituency of a politician caught like this who had the honesty to say "Yeah, I was young and foolish twenty years ago. I've moved on, learnt a lot, what of it?", I would vote for him. I might not agree with his policies, but shit, the guy is honest, you can work with that.

Laughing fair enough.

But

If it does ruin his career, will he be publicly remembered as 'that druggy'? Or as a bad politician? Or the bad politician who was somehow a far worse human because he took drugs?

I'm not saying he's a good guy, but if his life does get ruined, it shouldn't be for something like the content of this news article, because... well y'know, 'let he who is without sin throw the first stone'.

Hell will freeze over before a greasy lying self-serving fat pig like that would have the balls to come clean.

There's sin and there's sin. His sins have earned him a place in the same cell-row as stalin and hitler.

Schwarzenegger and Obama admitted to their past wrongs and they were completely, yes and?

I don't really get it tbh denying this and that, as NOT doing those sorts of things would make them a lot less human.

Because the vast majority of voters ( and thus those responsible for his pay cheques) are daily mail minded. Browse over any comments section related to drugs on the site to get an impression of what that means, and you'll understand why he sticks by the "I will fight these allegations to the end!!" whilst stood outside the family home, kids in front and the obligatory kiss on the wifes cheek.

This sort of nonsense continues to amuse me.

Wind back 200 years and the whole point of being a politician was to get good quality pussy. And that's forgetting kings who pretty much could fuck any female in the land.

Nowadays, if a politician even glances passed his wife, it's meant to be some sort of moral outrage.

Politicians should be pulled over coals for fucking the country, not for fucking call girls.

The only enmity I hold is for the callgirl. Boring old shit wanting her 5 minutes. What a scuzz bag.

The media love this sort of tittle tattle, because it reduces politics to soap opera, which is fitting, since it's a woman's world, and we're all venusian now.

It's sad that if Osborne openly said, "I liked to fuck prety women, what of it?" he'd be finished. Whereas jerking off all over the economy? Carry on, son.
