I would do it, but only if you wanted a dt anyway.
I used my MT50 in the snow last year, to keep the varadero looking nice in the garage. The commute was only about 5 miles through town though at the time. My TTR is going to get used through the winter this year, it's a similar mold to the DTR, similar power as well.
I'm going to put some Shinko 244 's on it as I know they work well in the snow from last year and not too bad on tarmac. Although I will have nearly 5 times the power this year. I am going to start looking at building a wind screen and bodging up some bigger hand guards to block the wind, all done on the cheap of course. ____________________ Current:1991 Honda MT50 (Soon to be a H100/MTX/MT5 hybrid), 1976 Honda Cub C70, 2005 Honda Varadero 125, 1993 Yamaha TTR250 Open Enduro , 2010 Road Legal Stomp YX140, 1994 Honda CRM 250 MK III, 1999 Cagiva Mito 125, 1992 Honda CB400 Super Four, Stomp T4 230, 1984 Honda H100s, 2009 Sym XS125K
