I have just bought a 50cc scooter of by Brother-In-Law, he worked in Germany and now has moved to Saudi Arabia with work. He has had the bike imported for me and I now have it in my garage, the paperwork is still in Saudi and I am having it sent over to me, what paperwork should I be looking for and what do I need to do to register it for a UK plate.

If it is a German import, you might need it coverted to UK use.

I think the bikes out there are left hand drive Laughing

Sorry, it's been a slow day

Very Happy A possible change to headlamp beam required. You may need to check for MOT. I understand that the dipped beam must kick-up to the offside of the bike. IIRC a scooter (or is that moped) only need dipped beam. Might have to fit sticky thing deflector/mask (technical term) on lens or get uk spec replacement.
