Hi,

New trousers just arrived and they're way too tight on my bike (DT 125) around my knees / lower leg. Like, I'm sitting completely different on the bike and feel really constricted. I presume it's because of the seating position? I'm looking at getting a sportier bike in the next few months so if it's just my current seating posistion causing the issue then i'll just put them in a closet for a while. (got them at a steal price).

I've tried with pads out and it helped a little. still very uncomfortable though! Anyway, Are all leather trousers like this?

Ive been on similar seatee bikes in trousers similar to those (even without crotch stretch panel area) and been okay. Same in one pieces. Id wonder if its just too small a size for you probably. Maybe return and exchange for a size up?

They're a 28 hence the massive saving. I'll phone around tomorrow and find out if anyone has them in a 30 so I can try them out quickly.

Only problem is I've already scratched the right slider on a mates bike Laughing

Would that actually work? On leather?

Problem is the stretch panels will remain the same so id of thought the overall size would feel the same, just with baggy pockets of leather in places Razz

Im very skinny and id never get in 28s so id definately blame the size as a likely culprit Laughing

Took out the rubber knee protectors and went for a ride...They fit perfectly now. Turns out sitting on your kitchen chair making 2 stroke noises doesn't accurately represent my seating position very well. Embarassed

Would anyone be able to recommend inserts that aren't so bulky. I'm talking less then 1 1/2 inches thick but not that 'CE approved' foam crap that's equivalent to a thin sheet of bubble wrap....How is that even approved armour?!
