Full fairing sets from china??

Following being wiped out on my VFR i'll be getting it back soon as a category C write off. Dependant on the engineers report I'll be looking to get it back on the road and it seems that I can get a full fairing set from China for a mere £410. Has anybody ever bought and fitted copies like this? Do you think they'll fit? Seems too good to be true.

Kevotore bought some for his thundercat? and it looks good.

He was happy with them.

Paddy had some and was happy with them, Tot has a San Carlo Gresini Honda rep set on his Fireblade (Marco) and is very happy with them.

Make sure you know what you are buying, the colours can often differ from those in the images.

I know of a set where the front headlamp surround was a dark blue and the rear pillion seat surround was the same dark blue in the pictures, turned up with a completely different colour blue (on the seat surround)
eBay awarded a refund.

Fitment was perfect though, remember to not mix oem with chinese this seems to cause most problems on the internet.

Oh v-peice on that fairing kit was completely wrong, so oem was used, not raised with seller.

Seller was Auctmarts if it helps.

Bought full kit from neverland gbp for £330. They refunded 50% when one part arrived broken.

Fit perfectly, 1 hot was about 2mm too small, quick buzz with a drill.

Let you know when my 'blade fairings arrive. It does seem to take a month or more at best, but, for the price, you just cannot complain.

Auctmart stuff gets good reviews. PB have used them on their long termers with no issues. The quality of Tot's San Carlo fairings are pretty good too, although I can't remember the seller he used.

A friend in work has had 2 repsol Honda sets from a seller in china for his vtr firestorm. he says that the parts come well packaged and protected and are a good quality and easy to fit.

Go for it mate.

Read the feedback and you'll soon be ordering some.

ive bought fairing sets from china same company as pabby neverland and to be honest they look good but dont fit as snug as oem fairings.
they will do the job and may get them again but be prepared to do some drilling and putting in work to get it to fit right.

it may be better to get the fairings wrapping in vinyl if they are not too badly damaged I got my whole R1 wrapped in gloss black for £375

Excellent stuff. Thanks for the replies chaps. I think I'm convinced enough to buy some when my bike gets back from the insurers. It was a 2002 VFR 800. I think I'd just swap the whole lot, none damaged panels and all. Might sell the OEM parts on ebay to get some of the money back. I'm thinking I might aswell keep this bike and run it until it dies. If it ever does

At £410 are they press or injection moulded?

I can probably get you a set for around £300.
