Think mine are the 'Humpback' panniers and I love them. I do a few journeys to Cardiff every year with them on and their great. 200 miles each way with a heavy back pack is hell.
Balance the weight evenly and you don't know their there |

If you go for Oxford, go for the Lifetime Luggage. They WILL replace it/repair it if it goes wrong.
I've had Oxford tank bags and can thoroughly recommend them.

Have a look here.
As far as I know, neither Humpback or 1st Time are lifetime guaranteed.
Lifetime Luggage is a different category, I think, although I'm willing to be advised otherwise. ____________________ With experience comes age. |

Another vote for Oxford Hump Backs - I bought the set form here...
https://www.forestedge-retail.co.uk
...after a lot of shopping around for a decent price. I think I've still got a 10% discount voucher for a 'next purchase' from there and as I doubt I'll buy anything from them in the foreseeable future if you do decide to go that route feel free to PM me and I'll post it to you if I can dig it out.
Cheers

I have some oxford stuff, seems ok although I broke the zip on the bum-bag thingy through my own fault more than anything else (trying to squeeze through a gateway). You have to watch how much stuff you put in it otherwise your bike lands up wider than the cars. I have a rule that when I set out on a long run, the panniers must not be expanded. This leaves plenty of reserve space for when I can't be arsed packing stuff properly. Neatly packed collapsed=stuffed-in haphazardly expanded. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |
