Ok so I bought a Sachs x-road 125cc 4t 08 plate
But I didn't realise the company went bust or something and really hard to get parts for these and I'm struggling

Firstly the

I wanted to change the exhaust because I hate the scrambler sound this bike makes sounds ok but just not my type of noise ( petty I know but personal preference) I seen people were putting cbr600 end cans on these but I'm not sure if it would lower actually bike performance eat ,

Secondly

I have a dellotro carb carb 2427 Phcf ( or something like that )
These carbs apparently have problems a lot and I seem to have hit that problem eg:- acceleration splutters a bit when first turn when stopping at lights doesn't idle for long then cuts out like there nothing getting to it

Thirdly

These bikes " apparently can do 120kph ( 80mph ) so text book says,
But I seem to only get 80kph out of this bike , when I got this bike it had road trials tyres fitted to the wheels ( and still dose ) I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it , I had a lexmoto arrow witch is so call 2 bhp less than this bike and I managed 65mph out of that small thing even with me weighting 14stone ( not fat ) haha

And last but not least

We're the hell would I get parts for a Sachs x-road 125 with a morini engine and not a Suzuki

Thanks in advance
P.s the pic is a stock image of bike not mine as u can tell by tyres just so y'all know what bike I mean

:D youve done a brilliant job of cleaning that!!!!!!! :D

electric choke ish.......piston type acceleration pump ( squirt pump ) which squirts a jet of raw fuel into the carb intake when throttle opened quicky, but no squirt when throttle opened slowly ( slowly ) ......does that work ok?? to stop flat spot or acceloration splutter/flame out??

hows dash pot diaphragm, does the carb slide go up and down properly when throttle opened........?

Well if I open quickly or slowly either way I will get the splutter then kicks in properly like it needed a bit more fuel or something it's rather annoying that it won't idle properly if I take my hand off accelerator coz it will just cut out like start dying on me lol but everything seems to open up freely ,! I'm just wondering if the setting are right on it and would that be reason it's maxing out at 80kph

Welcome to the world of sachs! Finding parts is hard i have a xtc and its fookin hard.
Wemoto and ebay.de and sometime ebay.co.uk
There are a couple of forums about nothing really to wet the bed about mostly chavs that like neon lights on there but some ok advice take most of it with a pinch of salt.

With the cbr can as far as i am aware they dont effect performance

Alot of people including me have ripped out the stock carbs and replaced with flat slide carbs! The stock carbs arnt the best, ive have 4 carbs on it since February.

I know for a fact the suzuki engine sachs can do over 80mph happly someone did a 520 can conversion on mine and put a 40 tooth rear sproket on it and mine use to happly sit at 110mph took a while to get there tho.....

Hope this helped

Dave
