Dunno if this has been posted before ( I'm a fairly new member ) so apologies if it has, but if not, it's just a little test about riding in the France countryside...

Be honest..... Wink

6/10 Hmmmm? could do better.
Let`s hope that my survival instinct makes up for the four questions I got wrong?

Just like when I ride over here , I`d still think that every driver over there was trying to kill me.

7/10. A friend of mine from years back has spent time living all over the world including spells in Europe and cites France as the second most dangerous country to drive in behind Jamaica.

9/10 but not happy with Q1 - the bike has to give way to the car!
Good to know tho.

Yeah, it's a silly rule, I've never encountered it in practice. Just need to be aware of it.

I've ridden in France at least 7 or 8 times but never been caught out by anyone insisting on Priorité a droite.
With minor roads where junctions are not marked with any sort of give way/stop line it's often not clear which is considered the 'main' road anyway.
9/10, question three Embarassed

Quite a few junction I have come across on minor roads. Also applies in some other countries (ie, Belgium)

All the best

50% but fuck it. I go to France once every 10 years or so. Hell I go to Holland and Germany a lot and don't know there signs. Oh look, I am still alive. Common sense folks, works wonders.
