We need to work on a Varadero 125 Honda (later model with cat/fuel injection) to make a new stainless steel exhaust with stainless Venom can.

we will need the bike for 2-3 weeks and it must have an original exhaust (can be grotty)

the downside is that you will need to get it to us in the w mids (drop you home if local or to station if not) - the upside is that we will take care of it and give you the first of the new full exhaust systems free as thanks

let me know on [email protected] if this suits you

Do a 2007+ hornet or 2011 CBR600f and you can happily have my bike for as long as you need Smile

If its cheap, I'd buy it.

If its noisy, I'd buy it.

How expensive will yours be, how noisy will it be.

Also, for the record, mines on stock pipes and has done ~80k Thumbs Up

Oh and didn't even reply to my email, customer service at its best Wink

Would have thought quality and longevity would be more important than outright cheapness personally. If the Motad came with a removable baffle then the noise issue is just a decision for the owner. Low priced can often mean buy twice, though talking of Chinese made exhausts I recently bought a Lexmoto universal stainless silencer and the quality seems much better than you'd expect, looks very tough and with the removable baffle quite meaty sounding, much nicer than the Viper can which fell off my Divvy somewhere in France!

So I know nothing about after market exhausts so be kind. Would this exhaust have a catalyst? If not would it still be legal on a FI Varadero, which has one as standard? Does the pipe affect the fuelling or will the bikes ECU be able to compensate?

Sorry for all the questions but I'm an exhaust div.

Will be interested to see how this new pipe turns out, I hate the way existing end cans look like they have been bodged under the heat shield. Here's hoping Motad do a neater job.

Not even sure I have a cat in mine, might do but its not causing loss of performance or anything.

Cheap is fine, the stock system has lasted 6 years and 80k, happy with that. The Lexmoto can is actually quite good, Iain has one and its pretty good quality Thumbs Up

out system will not have a cat and will work fine (else we wont sell it)

fuelling will be fine - changing ecu and maps are great for racers and people who think they are racers- but not needed for road use if the exhaust has been properly designed

wont know how tough it is until we start work on the bike

we will use a Venom silencer which has two removeable baffles- but hope we can design it well enough so you wont want to.

Not sure if Viper is Chinese or somewhere
else far eastern

Thumbs Up

Are you going for a 1 piece system or a slip on end section?

Reason I ask is common failure point is the lowest bend on the pipe connecting silencer to the 2>1 section Thumbs Up

sold a replacement Motad exhaust to a customer on Sunday for A Z650 - he had fitted the Motad in 1981 and although it is still on the bike he said it was looking a bit grotty!.

have to start a competition to find the oldest surviving Motad being used regularly

Don't know until we start but almost certainly a separate link pipe- making multiple bend structures makes distortion after welding a problem (or certainly adds work to make it right) we like to use separate bits so if you step off or the bike falls over you can get bits at a reasonable price
