Redex is a fuel additive, 2strokes are simple beasties and this can make quite a bit of difference to them.. (in fact according to a mate this needed redex in the cyclinder quite often)
The other thing you can do with it is pour it into the cyclinder and it eats away carbon deposits that build up in the cyclinder, shouldn't cost any more than £3...
Other than that looseing weight off the bike will speed acceleration up a bit, not much you can take off a scooter though.. pillion pags... um.. plastics... thats about it..
No offence intended with the "spending money on a 50 is a waste" i didn't want to hear it when i had a 4stroke 125, if you spent £500 on the 50 you would be lucky to get much more out of it, even then it will need allot more attention to stop it going bang, you will NEVER get the money back for mods done
...put up with it for a year, buy an nsr125

yup. DNAs aint alot faster than Speedfight, or any other moped for that matter...
They "Might" Just might push out a few extra mph after about a 1/2 mile of full throttle on the flat... But a DNA definatly does NOT do 60mph...
My speedfight is tuned to the bollocks and I can only "Just" Thrash 57 out of it on the flat (Mind you, Its a rocket up hill must be the torque gearing its got)
Any way, A derestricted speedfight VS a derestricted DNA...
Speedfight will pull away a fair bit quicker as its A) Much Lighter, B) has smaller wheels...
After about 30mph, the DNA will begin to catch up because its A) got bigger wheels meaning higher top end and B) A fair amount more aerodynamic than a scooter with an upright rider...

ok no.1. i said that the lad who started this topics bike isnt fully de-restricted,
no2. my speedfight had a bigger carb, race pipe and filter,
no.3. its not hard to ride a moped as fast as possible all you have to do is hold the throttle back to the stop.
his dna had race exhaust and new rollers and a de-restricted inlet manifold on the carb, and de-restricted in the variator.
and i never said the dna does 60 just says 60 on the clock, probab;ly about 50, but this topic says his dna does 45mph, probably more like 38mph,
anyway ive got a 125 now so i burn off any 50 and i really dontr care about mopeds theyre gay! i was just trying to help out a little.
