The moment has come, Module 2 tomorrow.

I'm nervous as hell! Passed Module one first time with 2 minors, driving for a year on my CBT (YBR125-06).

I've had 4 weeks since then to take my instructors advice, what is the most likely thing I will get serious faults for?

Also my test will be in Mitcham so I wonder if any of you guys or gals could give me some advice on the test route, and what's expected, that would be brilliant!

Thanks BCF!

Impossible question really - but shouldn't have to be any serious faults - just treat it like a normal ride and try and ride naturally. If you go into it rigid and over-thinking you'll probably make more mistakes than you prevent.

Just keep in mind at all times everything needs to be done properly, don't be in a huge rush to set off everytime the car in front moves or you'll forget a shoulder check or something and it'll start adding up if you do it a few times.

They're looking for safe progressive riding, not following their instructions and directions as fast as possible in a panic, which is easy to get into under the stress if you allow it to happen Razz

I personally just told myself before hand the worst that can happen is you don't pass first time and have to rebook - in which case its probably for something its good they've picked you up on anyway for future safety, so either way its positive Thumbs Up

Just look at it as a normal ride around with some guy in your head telling you where to go, that's pretty much it.
Pay attention to speed signs, i got a couple of faults for not noticing 20mph controlled zones, and if you miss a turn off dont do what i did and dive in at the last minute, still passed but to be fair i still managed to do a lifesaver indicate and throw the bike round Laughing

If youve been having lessons then it should be piss easy. I passed my mod2 first time and I never had a single lesson. So if youve had someone giving you pointers the last few months then I shouldn't worry too much.

Just ride safely and you will pass.

Hey guys, I passed, didn't reply because I was happy burning my L-plates and getting slaughtered last night, putting my bike for sale in a sec for £650, more celebrations ahead, birthday in 2 weeks and still need to get my Bandit 600!

Cheers guys!

Well, there was a moment when there was a No entry sign on a little road floater( those blocks normally at crossings) and I barely saw it and the instructor said next right please, the next right was the one after but my brain though it was, I realized it was a good way to test ones biking skills because it wasn't so easily noticed.

Also I swan necked the last turn.

I was so nervous, but now I am so happy, got someone viewing my bike during the week I think, looking to buy a Bandit 600/Sv650, so that I can use it for my DAS in years to come Smile).

Then I literally just have to take my bike there and pay £80 for the test Very Happy

Nice one. Thumbs Up

Oh, that. Rolling Eyes

Don't swan neck.
Why not?
Because then you'd be swan necking. Tut Tut

Anyone want to have a go at explaining why it's so dreadful?
