No I havent fell off (sorry to dissapoint you!)

Been trying to stay in a good mood all day, last night I found out that someone was coming round with cash to buy my RS125 off me, and for the first time in my life I was getting a dog. (shes a lovley pedigree boxer aged 2 called poppy, was my sisters but she hasnt got the the time to give her enough attention anymore). Add to that its my birthday tomorrow and youve got a happy villers all day today...

So came home got the RS out and warmed up then decided to move the CBR out of the way, except try as I might I couldnt paddle it. So up on the centre stand with a sigh and there it is ANOTHER screw in my tyre. This is the second in three months. I havent got the spare 120 odd quid for another BT014 so Ive decided to eff it and leave it over winter. Add to that watching my baby RS go off down the road with a stranger and youve now got a slightly depressed villers. So I'm stood there beer in hand watching the bike go, kicking the CBR and in walks my sis with a birthday card.

In conclusion, why does life love to kick you in the balls when your not looking? Neutral

Ah well nevermind, maybe it can be plugged

Wink

Exact same thing happened to me on monday mate! (had it back by tuesday though)

And i was told that they arent quick to fix CBR tyres... or maybe it was just mine cause the hole was a bit of a beast. (nail went right through and left a nail-size hole)

Congratulations on the puppy though.

i always hear of nails goin in tyres yet ive never ever ever ever ever ever seen one standing on end, or in a position where it can possibly stick in a tyre, is there some genious physics behind it?

I'm never sure about how they get in there, but you always seem to get more of them when the weather is wet.
I've stopped riding over the crap by traffic islands and this seems to have helped stop me having so many punctures.
Bloody builders - walk past a building site and see how many screws and nails there are lying around! I once picked up about 50 nails in the road outside a site in central London and went in and asked for the Foreman, but he just told me to F off and mind my own business...

Kudos for doing that, the guy's an arse for not caring though. Surely it's illegal to be leaving that sort of stuff on public roads? Maybe that's why you were told to eff off!

yeah its a pisser, im not sure how the nail got in last time but as for the screw I guess its because they have a raised head so the tyre forces them to sort of stand up on contact?

Why...You silly silly person....NEVER SELL AN RS125 hahaha...j/k

Gutted that in effect, you went from 2 bikes, to none. Sure it can be repaired, if not, at least you dont get a dirty bike during winter Thumbs Up

Cheers ash, I saw the RS last night in town as I was coming out of the pub. Its an absolute stunner aswell, first time ive seen it being ridden (as opposed to riding it!) and it looked and sounded great. (apart from the L plate!) Hope he re-restricted it like a good little boy Twisted Evil
