Maybe the "New Bikers" or the "General Bike Chat" section would be better for this thread.

Anyways, use the index finger of your left hand to give your visor a wipe.

Get to 60+, turn head to left then right to disperse rain! rinse and repeat.

Could also try a thin coat of silicone spray, works a treat.

I've tried every water repellent, wipe, and magic potion on the market. None of it worth a cent. Just give it a wipe with your glove when it gets really bad. When moving fast, turn your head side to side to blow off the drops.

Most of all, you'll get used to it. You concentrate on what you can see, rather than on what you can't. Look through the drops on your visor, not at them.

Any half decent winter glove have a visor wipe built into the thumb area. It's a little rubber strip like those that window cleaners use.

Works great on everything except freezing fog, and snow.

Found a use for those anti snoring clips they sell in poundland, stick it on the bottom edge of your visor and it helps with it fogging up.

Sometimes find myself driving a car with the wipers off.

On the bike I do the head to the side thing or a quick smutty finger wipe....Mmmm Finger wipe. Drooling

Roll up a bit of microfibre cloth and use a rubber band to attach it to your finger.

1, Crack the visor slightly at low speeds to avoid fog.
2. Wipe with left index finger when required.
3. Head side to side when at high speed.

Consider trying out contacts instead of glasses (I'd recommend Daysoft) . Glasses are a complete PITA in wet/cold/windy/shitty conditions.

I have these gloves https://www.spadaclothing.co.uk/productdetail.php?subcat=26&cat=4&product=563&productname=Blizzard%202%20WP

They have a rubber strip that works wonders, very warm and waterproof in anything other than torrential rain. Also they can be got for about £20

You don't need aa sqeegie. The back of your gloved thumb works just as well.
