would i be best booking somewhere to camp or just turn up and find somewhere?

should i be looking at a different road race then? maybe one that's a bit quieter, if that's at all possible?

You'd want to book early, campsites near the track fill up quickly!

There are better ones further out though. The campsites in the Coleraine Triangle (Coleraine, Portrush, Portstewart) will rip you off truth be told.

It nearly always pisses down on the Saturday and the races get canceled Laughing

Or a bomb scare like the other year. Rolling Eyes

Honestly I think the Thursday/Friday are the best days, racing on the Thursday afternoon and evening now and lots of things going on the next day, fireworks display etc friday night at Portstewart promenade

I just like the atmosphere and talking to lots of random bikers. Standing around trying to watch the races can be pain in the hole. There are afew good spots on the track but you need to know the local area to get around them with the roads closed.
