drum brakes please help

ok, they are drums on a ts 50 x, i have 2 choices and cant seem to find an in between. its front wheel not move, and leaver doesnt come right into bar or front leaver comes right into bar and front wheel moves, any one got any ideas, i just brought new break pads hoping they will help and they havent i just dont get it.

if I understand you correctly you need to adjust your cable and not the shoes.

from your post you would appear to be trying to take up slack in the cable by adjusting the shoes...

simply this won't work

adjust shoes first, then adjust cable so you have nice progressive brake without bind.
