just bought a aprila shiver 750 got a good deal as my virago is outdated and i got bored of it

but over all the excitement i forgot a bout asking a bout a 33bhp restrictor as on a2 for one more year

does anyone know what sort it is as looking at how much goin to cost
as its it fuel injected so cant carb

can you get a throttle stop for it so can take to garage and get fitted

is it a risk though not haveing it restricted also how would i prove anything to the police
someone said wet mode on the aprila takes it to 33bhp any body know

Aprilia should know. Ring a dealer.

And there's no legal requirement for a certificate. If want to test it they will.

If it's anything like Aprillias official 33bhp kit for the mana it's just a cable stop. Still charge nearly £200 though (inc fitting at a dealer). Do yourself a favour, fit it yourself.

you can get a restricted fuel map for the shiver mate..


speak to a dealer. The shiver has 3 riding modes, Touring/Sport & Rain. These modes can be added or changed.

But it probably isn't going to stand up in court by using the switchable modes should popo take it that far.

I'd be inclined to not bother.
