Heya,

I ordered a new front tyre yesterday from the local garage. I Asked for a 120/60 17 and I was then going to save up to get a new rear later on which I wanted a 160/60 17.

The garaged phoned me today and fitted the tyre for me, however when I got home and looked at it, It was a 120/70 17.. not what I asked for XD lol.

I'm not sure which size now to get on the back, I want it slightly wider than the current 150/70 17.

I was wondering does it matter on sizes because of the difference in height between the 2 wheels (The slant if u put a ruler across both wheels) and which size would you recommend?

Thanks

im surprised you managed to find a 150, a 160 is fine on a bandit 6
either 60 or 70 profile, you can squeeze a 170 on the back, I've heard of guys even running 180's on a stock 4.5inch rim, must have been close to the chain,
i suspect they spaced the sprocket out a few mm

Ahright thanks. Yea the 150 was on it when I bought it a year ago. so the options are 160/60 17 or 170/60 17. I'll probs go 160.
