i am replacing fork oil seals on a vfr750,
seals taken out measure
43-55-9.5

does anybody know if this model changed in the years for sizes?
as want to find out what year they came off,

also need to know how much oil and weight is needed

just buy a set off wemoto for the year of your bike,
i think they have stayed the same through the model years,
they went up to a 43mm for for the vtec models from 41,
so im assuming you have a post 2002 bike,
weight of the oil is up to you,
5w is the standard weight which is a bit to thin, 7.5w or 10w is what most people use in the vfr's if your a big guy id probably go a bit heavier even

You normally use ATF in the forks on a VFR750 rather than fork oil. Quantity varies with model but it's the air gap you should be setting.

You'll probably get OEM ones for next to nothing from David Silvers.
