Nothing happened. I am a skeptic and would have loved to have witnessed something i cant explain even if it was insignificant like a candle blowing out by itself. Still, fuck all.
Happy halloween

lol skeptic? Seriously?

Skeptic means you're too afraid to say you believe because of the what others might think. This means that most of your head is saying it's all stupid, all lies. Which supernatural stuff is, lies.

I hope I cured your skepticism Smile

It's all down to the subconsicous. There is no supernatural in the way that people think. Sadly.

It's just a parlour/board game that has had some false significance applied to it.

Wrong.

Skepticism is taking the negative position until the positive can be proved to the contrary.

Only a Sith deals in absolutes.

No one ever really explains why it works, in a "mystical" sort of way. Its just accepted that putting numbers and letters on a board then a glass on top and then placing your hands on it is like dialling a direct line to spirits - well why is that?

Then again, there is a process I peform that renders me briefly possessed by some kind of spirit. I start grunting, snarling and drooling whilst my face twists and contorts and I thrash around for a few minutes until suddenely the "spirits" leave my body and I'm left feeling weak, ashamed and with a deep feeling of self-loathing. The ritual involves squeezing my balls with one hand whilst beating my dick into jelly with the other. It is the darndest thing.

Oh yeah and some mysterious ectoplasm appears all over my keyboard and desk, I've been thinking of sending it off for some kind of testing.

Ouija is a fucking game, it's not a supernatural thing at all. In the late 1800's it was just a parlour game and wasn't until stupidity took over that people thought it was anything more...

I don't believe in any of that voodoo mumbo jumbo crap, no ghosts, no spirits or afterlife or anything. But my mum does and as kids she'd always say about how she knew people who did ouija boards and got haunted, or weird shit happened blah blah and that we should never ever do one.

Now I realise it's all a load of bollocks, but I still have a slight in built apprehension about a ouija board. I'd have to do one to get over the irrationality of it all and just to laugh at my mum for being a loon.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath-water. Just because 'spirits' don't communicate with the living and all mediums are frauds doesn't mean there's no 'life' after 'death'.

...but when all the reasons people think there is life after death are based on equally fraudulent things and there's no actual evidence to even begin to suggest it, it's not unreasonable to doubt it.

But let's not get into this Laughing

Things have happened to me and my family that are hard to explain away other than "Spirits" having a hand in it.

From my Dad pulling over in the car for no reason just before a wagon came over a humped back bridge on the wrong side of the road and would have hit us if my old man hadn't pulled over to me having a really bad accident that I shouldn't have survived (and many haven't at that spot) but it was on the same date and at the same time that my Mother's brother died 15 years before. I felt at the time that I was floating and not flying through the air before I hit the ground. Other stuff like me and the wife looking for blue paint in B&Q but meeting up with the same green paint just different brands as the colour we really wanted.
Knowing the phone is about to ring before it does, that sort of thing.
