CB250 RS street scrambler

Hi there!

I have recently bought a 1980 Honda CB250 RS as I have been interested in creating my own street scrambler for a while now. When I bought it it pretty much came with everything there and in reasonable condition although it hadnt been on the road for 7 years! I got the engine running (cleaned up the plug and put in some fresh fuel) and after checking that it was mechanically okay i decided to strip it down to the frame for powder coating.

I was hoping there was some people out there who knew anything about what other tanks may fit (without too much persuasion) and how to go about fabricating a new seat to the bike (chopping the rear end and making new seat).

Do what you want with it, it's YOUR bike.

He's not wrecking a perfectly good rs, he's freeing up parts allowing someone to finish their own project.

I am going to make it mine I was just hoping to get some ideas on a good place to cut the back off and what tanks would be a suitable fit.

Personally, I'd spend a little restoring the RS and with the profit made get a proper 2 stroke dirtbike.
