Was a very good program indeed.

As irritating as he is, he does make some good TV shows.

I don't care what he thinks, that whole "let me strap a rocket to my arse and fire myself into the ground" stunt has made him infinitely more irritating.

I read his book that came out not long after his accident and I also read his wife's column on line. As a bloke he is very normal very likeable and very family orientated, as a celebrity he does grate somewhat, but he isn't the worst.

Before his accident I quite liked the little fella... but after his accident he became very annoying. I also read his book, and it was a good read. He went through a lot because of that.

Still really annoys the hell out of me when I see him on TV. He reminds me of a kids presenter in a way as he's so tame and placid, like the human version of Radio 4. Just want to see him in the papers snorting coke off prostitutes and punching paparazi to get rid of that good boy image.

I think that that is his problem, he is squeaky clean and we don't like it. He drives fast cars and bikes, has a nice home, nice wife, a bit of money and no real down side to him. He is too nice.

Yeah, he's definitely a family man and that I suppose is the biggest thing to keep "normal" after an accident like that. But he's said the only difference is that he likes celery now and he didn't before, but his personality has changed.

I know, the lucky bastard Laughing I suppose he just gets on with life - he doesn't really come across as a "celebrity" in the same way Clarkson does, because he's always annoying somebody or whatever. Richard just goes to work, makes a good TV show, moonlights on Morrisons adverts a bit and rides fast bikes.

I used to find him quite funny but now he's quite irritating. Still, I like Top Gear and I won't let one little thing deter me - stuff Clarkson says irritates me as well (like his hatred of cyclists) but 95% of stuff they do is funny.
