high pitched rattle

Hi,

I have a high pitched rattle comming from the engine:

If I take it off the stand it goes away, untill I start to drive forward then I can hear it again.

Is this the bearings in the crank shaft? =/

OK, you've been "rebuilding" it, and have a "new" water pump leak?

What exactly have you been fiddling with?

And not to be funny, but there is oil in it? I ask because you didn't say.

Peugeot Speedfight 2 LC Fix up

I have oil in the petrol tank as well as the oil tank (just for the first tank)

I have also contacted the company I bought the pump from, still to hear from them.

Sounds like the pump to me :/

My mates trekker developed a similar noise and one of the fins was hitting the case (same engine and parts)
