Not very much by the look of it. Oh and no offence, but your Google skills suck the big one. Laughing

The fire engine only says "dickie" on it and thats the only branding, no other info about it.

can't seem to find anything else online.

Any ideas what it could be worth?

Its not worth anything dude, sentimental value only. if it was older then probably worth something.

I know, but it would still give you an indication of value for the type of toy. Thumbs Up

Hang on to it and if you have the box, hang on to that too - collectors wet themselves over stuff in boxes.

I'm sure I had something like that when I was a kid, for a little while anyway, we had to take it back because of a product recall.

Somewhat on topic: does anyone know of a decent place to sell vintage toys, other than ebay?

I've got a 1979 millenium falcon, complete with all parts and box (albeit battered). Looks like it could fetch around 100 quid but I'm reluctant to sell to one of the many twats on there, given how ebay treats its sellers!

Auction houses have collectable toy auctions from time to time - might be worth a look at one of those.

Starving Africans are dying in this world and all you're bloody going on about is replying to a post about a toy fire engine?

Oh irony!

Please note I can see it duplicated here Wink

I seen a fire engine like that at a Demo on the news.
It was putting out fires started by, 'Reject Evil and Those Against Real Democratic Socialism' (R.E.T.A.R.D.S.) in London.

My dad bought me one of those when I was about 5 - he also decided it'd be funny to surprise me with it - I vividly recall sitting on the sofa watching TV in a dark room when suddenly this wailing loud thing with lights appeared in front of me - I screamed like a girl, knocked drinks over, trod on the dog and fell on my face in a bid to escape, I then refused to go near it - so it was returned for a refund.
Thanks for letting me relive my personal hell.
