Isn't it great when a business takes your hard earned cash but doesn't provide anything representing a service?

In brief; girlfriend's birthday today, I couldn't be with her. Spent a significant amount of cash on flowers to be delivered to her today (I expect I'll be berated for this fact alone but she loves flowers and it's her birthday, right?!) and it's been let down after let down...

I received a call at lunch saying, "ehh, we don't have any of 'em flowers in that colour. What other colour do you want?".

"Brilliant. Erm, Pink?".

"None of that ones either, mate".

"I think this conversation will be less painful if you stop making me play this game and tell me what you do have..."

"White".

"White then, I suppose..." How many fucking guesses was I allowed?!

He then told me he'd be in touch if there was a problem. He didn't get back in touch, the flowers were never delivered.

I had the same crap with some Indian company when I was here and wanted flowers delivered to my missus in Japan. She didn't get them on the day but the company refunded me and got them to her the next day.

I suspect all you'll get from Interflora is the finger but it'd be nice to be proved wrong.

Interflora have always been ok for me. They give the order to their nearest florist to the delivery address. It must be a crap florist there.

Their business model is doing a Google search and passing on an order? Thinking

Anyway, failed florist owes you your choice of blowjob or Gary.

Interflora is, and always has been, nothing more than a call centre. They simply pass-on orders to one of their local 'members' and receive a nice little drink for their efforts.

Complain to Interflora over the fact that THEIR supplier could not deliver as per their website.

Then contact your card provide and get a Chargeback for non receipt of goods.

I've used eflorist (https://www.eflorist.co.uk/) a few times and have always been very happy. There is code for discount too (VC15)

It might just be because there is really good flower shop near by (Tilly Tomlinson in Bristol)

Again, this is essentially the same thing, just a middle man type service.

AND one of the BIGGEST bunches of flowers (Mit the chocolates) and a fecking vase too, for good measure.

They run their business on people's emotions. So, as far as they are concerned, you are utterly distraught, don't know how to 'make it up' to your lady and Interfuckard SHOULD make the biggest effort to remedy the 'Hurt' and 'Distress' THEY have caused.

I think that ought to do it. Cool

If you send flowers in future try Bunches (Google them - it's an online service). My OH's mum sends us a bunch for various significant dates and even though they know we live in a remote location, if the delivery doesn't arrive bang on time and my OHs mum lets them know, they'll send out another bunch usually with something extra as an apology.

With Interflora you're at the mercy of the local florist that happens to be a member. If it's a shit, couldn't-care-less florist then you're stuffed.

How can a florist only have white flowers.

May I suggest arson as a retributive pathway?
