Hi
Neighbours friend has recently dropped a VFR400 NC21. Bit of damage but nothing too serious.
Bits it needs are as follows.
Clutch lever (he already has one of these).
Gear lever (bent, might straighten)
Gear lever mounting bolt (still doing its job, but not got a head on it anymore)
Side stand mounting bolt (ground away, but not a problem unless it needs to be removed).
Generator cover
Fairing / headlight bracket (bent, but can be bodged up)
Rear wheel spindle (lightly damaged, may well be OK)
Top fairing (probably can be bodged up).
Fork seals
OK, some of these bits should be easy (fork seals) or can be ignored. The big problem is the generator cover and the gear lever. The gear lever might straighten but I would not bet on it. The generator cover is totalled, but David Silver spares do not list one, nor for the NC24. Is the NC30 one interchangeable (if I can find one), or even one from the older VF400?
Any help apprciated.
All the best

Graeme France might be able to help, though I doubt he regularly works on NC21s - 07778 628448
Probably worth asking on 400greybike.co.uk if you haven't already. ____________________ My Old CBR400RR | Bike Oil FAQ | Petrol FAQ |
